Get More Bang for Your Buck at Terraz' Payday Buffet
So, I was like asking some friends over at Messenger about payday. It has been a long time that I haven't experienced a full-pledged salary on a regular basis so I'm not so adept on how it is when the 15th or the 30th of the month come. I mean if I remember it correctly, when I was working full time at a company, our salary fall on the 10th and the 25th, so duh! Most of them, wasn't actually excited about it as it may meant bills to pay, some though are happy whenever those dates are on as they can purchase stuff they have planned for. One of them, in such a surprising manner, happened to give me a Pinterest link to which a collection of funny memes about salary and payday were listed - Pinterest.com/explore/pay-day-humor.
But the best thing I really like about paydays is (aside from realizing that your tax was computed incorrectly and you end up paying less from, which happens once in lifetime) feasting at your favorite restaurant or painting the town red from the awesome deals at the mall. I know! It all entail spending much and some can easily say in chorus that you have to reward yourself after fifteen days of hard work. I couldn't agree more. But then, together with the purchasing power you have on those days marked crimson red, one still have to think of ways how to properly manage your hard-earned money.
Did you know that Filipinos spend more on food rather that on shopping during paydays? With the advent of restaurants popping here and there it's hard to control oneself in splurging too much for a lunch or dinner, specially on paydays. But I'm sure you're going to love me when I share with you this news that I, myself was able to take pleasure in. Terraz Bistro and Meetings had this buffet promo for paydays. For just P 499 (excluding service charge) you get to savor either lunch or dinner with a buffet. On these days the restaurant styles itself with food displayed on strategic places, well-designed and executed pretty well, your money really goes a long long way.
What's more to love about this famous meeting and dining place is that you get the value for your money but staying true to the modern-day comfort of their food and their well-appointed section of the Zuellig Building. And of course, they welcome everyone even without having to reserve for a meeting.
The lovely interior doesn't compare to the beautifully arranged dishes. Another thing to get excited about is that the buffet doesn't have an exact menu with it, every payday is a different set of cuisines or dishes but all the same, they go to rigorous planning and meal design. After all, Terraz like many of Raintree's restaurants have managed to serve up to everyone's fancy.
The buffet covers a selection from appetizers, salads, soup, pizza, pasta, meat dishes, even street foods made fancier, down to desserts. Makati's secret hide-away, the Al fresco area of Terraz.
My pictures don't do justice from all the real buffet spread they offered at the Payday Buffet I last attended.
They even had a band to entertain you with real music to enjoy with good food and good company.
My first round of dishes for the night.
